Name change on Black Friday?

We just got our marriage certificate today!  Does anyone know if the SS office and DMV are open on Friday?  I'm looking around online, but MN government websites suck.

    The Social Security office will NOT be open this Friday. They normally are open the day after Thanksgiving, but not this year.

    I know someone who works at a different SSA office - she was amazed that the SSA offices are closed that day, so it stuck in my memory. I'm guessing if hers is closed they all are? Too bad, because I bet that would have been a great day to go!
