Cake cutting/serving set: wanted

So I cant get past the --you "need" this and that for the ONE day you will ever use it kind of things, IE the cake knife and serving set.

So I am wondering if anyone has one they want to Rent, lend, give me for my wedding coming up in um 23 days! :)

now that I am thinking about what else do I "need"

EDIT: I remember! Anyone have a white vest you can lend my FI? I am in love with the white vest look, just thought I'd here before we rent one, down in Vegas.

I bought one at Michael's or Joann's and personalized it with ribbon in our colors.  Maybe it's inexpensive enough you could pick one up?  HTH

I have a really pretty but cheap one that I'm pretty sure we won't be using becuase my mom bought a really expesive one for her wedding this last summer. you can have it, it's never been used. It's white and clear I think with the obvious metal cutting and serving part.

There is also a fabulous vendor in Woodbury that rents stuff like this. I am renting my cake serving pieces from her and it's about $10 to rent. They also rent centerpieces, bird cages, veils, etc at incredible prices. I love that I don't have to spend a fortune on this stuff that I'll only use once, and I can return it a few days later. Check out her site.

I've got a bunch of sets here but the best 'rec...

Walmart...  Go to their kitchen utensils aisle and you can get an Oneida one for I think $3.99 (or less) that looks like something you'd keep in the silverware/utensils drawer and actually would use again...

Otherwise, if you registered for a silverware set, just get one that matches that you'd be able to use instead of something that gets thrown in a box and never used again (we've used ours quite a few times for dinner parties, birthdays, etc)..
