Help! Florist, Rehearsal Dinner Location in Columbus!

Hi All!

I am getting married on NYE in downtown Columbus and need to find a florist (preferably someone who does it out of their home!)  I am having a large wedding, and flowers are NOT something that I want to spend a big portion of my budget on. This has been tough to find, and most of the floral shops in Columbus are too pricey.

Also, I need to find a great location for rehearsal dinner (thinking somewhere downtown) but I don't know the area well and I'm looking for somewhere that won't break the bank. My fiancee and I are paying for the rehearsal ourselves, and need somewhere with great food at reasonable prices!

Thank you for your help!!

Best,
Jessica

I met with Flowerman who has a DIY option. Other knotties recommended Kelly Karsten, who I also met with. Price wise, both were very close in price, but Kelly puts them all together. I didn't want to worry about putting my own flowers together the day before my wedding. I booked Kelly and she has been great so far. Another bride just posted a fantastic review about her a few days ago.

We are probably doing Spaghetti Warehouse for our rehearsal. Super inexpensive, private room- by far the best price we've been able to find. Another option is Claddaugh, they too were reasonably priced.

I will be using Flowers on Springtree Lane, they were the best price that I found for my vision.

    As for Rehearsal Dinner locations:
    - Tony's Italian Ristorante.  They have options that start at $15 per person.  This is where we are having out RD.  They have a private room, it's really nice.
    - Schmidt's.  I don't remember details, but I do know that it is affordable.
    - Spaghetti Warehouse. We never actually looked into having it there, but, I'm sure it's delicious!
    - Planks.  I am not sure if they have a private room, or how big it is, but Planks on Parsons has the best pizza, ever. Period. End of Story. :-)

I am using Flowers on Springtree Lane for all my flowers. So gorgeous, they work out of their homes, Anne and Robin are peaches! :-)

I am also using Spaghetti Warehouse for our rehearsal dinner... it's downtown and has homecooked italian flavor to it.

We're also using Spaghetti Warehouse for our rehearsal dinner. I really liked how they factored in gratuity and drinks into the prices plus amazingly affordable compared to most places in Columbus. The prices are on their Web site.

I'm not actually using a florist. I'm ordering all of our bouquets, etc. from etsy.com sellers and they're being made out of buttons. A unique option and more affordable than any flower quotes I found.

Also another Flower on Springtree Lane user.  They work out of their home and they're sooo sweet!  You'll end up getting more flowers for the price compared to competitors and they were by far the cheapest quote I received.

We are doing the Flowerman with a 1/2 DIY and 1/2 designer deal.  It was the cheapest of all the florists I met with.  Vverdesign is pretty nice too - she does it out of her home and I think she advertises here on the knot.

Our rehearsal is at Gordon Biersch - they have different packages for food and/or alcohol.

Thank you all for your suggestions!!  I really appreciate this SOO much!!  I'm going to look into Flowers on Springtree Lane and Spaghetti Factory (being that we are both Italian... this could be AWESOME!)

    THANK YOU!!!!!
