Addressing Questions...

I got 80% of the addressing done tonight! :)  I have a few questions:

1. A friend from HS is now engaged and I've only met him once very briefly (like 5 mins) do I address with 'and guest' or do I address with his name too?

2. A friend from college whom FI and I used to live with 3 years ago, but haven't seen much since, but I have kept in contact via email is now in a serious relationship and they just moved in together.  FI and I have not yet met him.  Do we address 'and guest' or put his name (i know his first name via my friend, but only know his last name because of facebook)?

TIA!

Wow. good job on getting so many done!

I'd say, if you know the names (facebook, or personally), I would include them even if you don't know the person.

Part of this probably depends on how "formal" your wedding is all around.... a few of my HS friends got married last summer (before FI and I were engaged.)  All three invites just came addressed "Stephanie S----- & Jeremy"  without his last name?  It's not like I didn't know who they were talking about :)  You can also shoot your friends a quick email or phone call and ask for the SO's last name.

Don't use and guest, and least use the guys first name. Like the pp when I was invited to weddings , lots of invites just said Kira Last Name & Howard, which is fine. But if you know his last name, I would use it.

Agreed. As long as you know the name, I see no reason not to!
