Day Off!!!

I had such a short week this week at work. Took Wes. off for my Boudoir shoot now I have Friday off (which I usually do). However, I am still seudo working. My Cousin is getting married tomorrow, so I am taking his FI to get sprayed tanned and nails done. (Super tomboy rasied by her dad)
We've gotten a small team of family members to help decorate the Reception Site.

Hoping that paying it forward will help when I need their help with my wedding! I feel like I need more people!

I still have time but Married Knotties How Many ppl did you ask to help (hand out bout., take- down, shuffle gifts to room, shuffle your stuff to and from locations... etc)

Non-Married Knotties--- How many are you planning to ask for help???

    Ooh, sounds like fun!!

We can't be in our reception site until the morning of, so I am very adament that I nor my family will have to do any of the decorating. Its worth the little extra price tag to have the linen company and florist set up themselves.  If its something you can budget for, I think not having that stress is sooooo worth it.

I'm hoping our DOC will take care of a lot of that.  And the coordinator at our reception venue is amazing!

Unless someone volunteers to do the decorating and schlepping (not likely), I'm going to hire a DOC in the hopes that they will do this stuff.  We're going to have to set up an arbor with flowers and chairs and aisle runner/ribbon at the ceremony site, then set up the tables at the reception, which should only include centerpieces, favors, escort cards, heritage table, and candy buffet, but we may be able to do that while we're there before the ceremony getting ready.

As far as handing out programs and corsages/boutineers at the ceremony, I figured my brothers (ushers) could do it.  The only flowers that will still need to be handed out will go to our parents and my grandpa.

Well here is what I have planned. Our Reception Site will put up the tables and linens and set the tables etc. But my DOC will put out the CP and do the Chair Covers and Sashes. I also hired a company/lady to decorate the Card Table, Guest Book Table, Gift Table and Head Table. (Back Drop)

I am going to have my Aunt come early and take pictures of me getting ready in the church and hand out bout. and VIP flowers. I am also going to ask my Aunt to bring gifts up to our room. My Concern is take down. What on earth am I going to do with my CP. Give them away? ... I'll have to think of something.
