So we have typical round tables that can hold 10 guests. We would perfer only 8 per table. We kind of have lots of family fall outs so we have some tables that only have six people. Is that going to look really weird? Did anyone else have that? We have tables of 6, 7, 8, 9, and 2 with ten cause of small kids.

We couldn't tell. We had some with 6 and some with 11 ( 10pp tables) people switched on us.... What decided for us, was the number of tables we wanted. (if we went over 25 then we have to cover the dance floor) so we divided the people among the 25 tables.

I will tell you, if the space is small or you have tables against the wall-- then I would keep those tables under 10.

We had some tables that ended up being full with 10 people, and some that had like 6 or 7. I don't think that anyone really noticed. The only people who might have would have been sitting at the smaller tables, but since people tend to get up and mingle, I don't think that it was a big deal at all. I don't think that it looked funny. We out our one small table in a corner area and I don't think that most people even really saw it.

I don't think anyone would really notice. Plus like others have said, people will get up and mingle with others throughout the night- so I wouldn't worry about it.
