Suggestions for a wedding painter?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a wedding painter? I have found one but it was like $3000, which is very much out of my price range...Any help woud be greatly appreciated...

It looks like they just paint scenes from your wedding as it is happening ...

Maybe try seeing if any talented art students would be interested?  They'd probably be willing to do it for a far more reasonable price than $3,000.  The Twin Cities definitely has a large arts community, so I think you'd have good luck finding someone.  Chances are that he charges that much because of travel expenses!

Its not a subsitute for a photographer....its someone who comes to the reception and over the 4 hours paints a scene of the wedding. Its a fun thing for the guests to watch unfold and at the end of the night for the couple to take home. Ive attached some photos of what I am talking about!
