So I had a seamstress who I was referred to by my grandma, god bless her lol Anyways she had, had my dress for a few months now and called me this past friday to tell me she hadnt even begun work on my dress and wouldnt be able to and dropped my dress off at my mother's house. Really who does that??? I scrammbled ALL weekend trying to find someone and yesterday I decided to get on the knot, the columbus OH board and see if anyone could help. Oddly enough someone else had posted something about needing a seamstress ASAP, so i stalked the board looking at other peoples responses. Somone mentioned Linda Hammond from HIlliard so I called her. In tears I explained my situation, she asked me if I knew what needed to be done and told me she was super slammed and had some important personal things going on, I was becoming very upset again...that is until she asked when I could come let her look at it. I would just like to say Linda is amazing! I never expected a disaster like this to happen just 12 days before my wedding but I am greatful to her and all the ladies that recommended her, by the way she is VERY reasonable! Just thought I would put a good word out there for other columbus knotties and thank all the other ladies for recommending her. Hope this helps someone else!
