BM Shoes

I am pretty sure about the BM dresses, but was wondering about shoes. Typically,  Do all BMS wear same style and color of shoes?

I think that shoes are a totally personal choice for the bride.  I wore the same shoes as the other BMs in my sister's wedding and they were so uncomfortable I threw them in the trash on my way out of the church and wore flip flops the rest of the time.  (total waste of the $40 for the shoes plus custom dye-ing them)  My sister had tea length bridesmaid dresses and thought that it would look nicer to have everyone wearing the same footwear since everyone would be able to see them.

For my own wedding, the ladies picked a floor length dress so I told them wear whatever they wanted as long as they were black.  I didn't care if they were heels, sling backs, flats or flip flops - just wanted them to be comfortable and not have to spend money if they didn't want to since pretty much everyone owns a pair of black shoes.  Almost nobody saw their shoes anyway.

My ladies are wearing knee length dresses and I told them they could choose their own footwear. I have a hard time choosing my own shoes let alone somebody elses! Plus one is 5'1", one is 5'4", and the other is 5'8" so I'm pretty sure they will all wear a different heel height!

Our BM dresses are knee length and I told my BMs they could choose their own shoes. Two of my three want to wear heels with a pop of color (which I am thrilled about) but my other BM wants to just wear flats. I'm hoping it won't look weird, but I think the girls appreciate being able to make that choice for themselves. It's only shoes after all.

our bm dresses are floor length so the girls are going to wear any silver shoes they want.  I just think its easier that way!

We are doing knee length black dresses and I'm all about being comfortable so I told the girls do what they want as long as they are black.

Thanks girls! I am having one of my BMs kinda pick out different styles for all the girls to pick from.  We are having knee length watermelon dresses and going with silver shoes.
