EEK! Let the registry stalking begin!

So I have officially become a registry stalker! And was COMPLETELY caught off guard to see that someone bought all 12 sets of our fine silverware!! Then I got a call today from UPS that they were delivering a package that needs to be signed for- I haven't ordered anything so I think it might be the silverware!!

What's the etiquette on this? Do I open it? Do I wait until my wedding?

    Open it, make sure it's all there and not damaged, then send a thank you note. Also remember, if these people come to your wedding, even if they don't give you another present, you should send another TY for attending the wedding.
