Waxing recs

Ok, I admit.... I'm a virgin when it comes to waxing! Well, I've had my brows done but thats pretty insignificant.

I'm considering a bikini and maybe leg wax before the wedding. It'd be so amazing not to stress about shaving on our honeymoon. Plus I think FI would love it!

So anyone have someone they would recommend? Preferrably on the northwest side of cbus but I could travel elsewhere if needed.

THANKS

All of the prices are online I think, but it was about $120 for eyebrows, underarms, and brazilian

There was just a groupon or favearoo yesterday for a bikini wax for $17. Check the daily deal sites, sometimes they are good for a few days.

If you decide to have anything more than your bikini I recommend you take excedrine, or better a pain killer, 30 minutes before you go.

OLGA the waxer??? Sounds like something from a bad movie! hahaha

Thanks for the advice. I definitely am thinking some pain killer ahead of time. I consider myself to have a pretty high pain tolerance but no need to be in more pain than neseccary lol

that or drink a glass of wine or two.  My MOH had a brazilian last month (for the first time) and that's what her lady told her to do next time.  Takes the edge off, ya know?

Jade at the Charles Penzone MAX salon in the short north is amazing.  I have heard horror stories about bad bruising from people who have gone other places without a recommendation.  Everyone I know who goes to her has never had a bad experience.

I use Tegan at Kenneths in New Albany.  I love her, she's great.

It's gonna hurt like hell the first time no matter what.  Try not to get a brazillian or bikini before or during your period.....everything is way more sensitive and it hurts like hell.  After the first one or two, the pain seems lesser.  I'd suggest trying to get one or two waxings before the big day so that 1. it stays smoother longer 2. you are more likely to get a perfect result.

This may be TMI, so don't read if you don't want to know.
And, I'm officially a huge fan of brazillians.  Aside from the initial pain, when your hair grows back it doesn't aggitate your skin the same way. And...when it does grow back, it is smoother and not so rough and coarse.
