Bachelorette party

My MOH is planning a bachelorette party for me.  Would it be okay if I let her know that I prefer to just do something small like dinner & drinks or just perhaps a girls afternoon out at a spa?  I only have a bridesmaid, MOH and me.  I'm also thinking of including our moms (MOG & MOB).  What are your thoughts on this?  Thanks

Well you'll be in charge of getting her the guest list, so you can include anyone you want.  You can definitely talk to her about what you would prefer especially if she asks, but just remember that she doesn't have to do exactly what you want.

It's ultimately up to her, but I think voicing your preferences is important. I know my FI will be doing that with his bachelor party. He's not at all a fan of strip clubs (they went to one for his friend's party and he was bored out of his mind texting me the whole time, lol) so he will be insisting on doing something else. I don't think it's totally rude to say what you'd like to do (especially if something she might plan would make you uncomfortable) as long as you're not taking over and doing all the planning of course :-)

Hopefully your MOH knows you well enough to know you're not into having a wild and crazy bachelorette party, but I don't think there's anything wrong with making a couple of suggestions for things to do. She wants to celebrate you, and wants you to have a great time as well!

I don't think it's rude, I wouldn't want to go to a strip club, it's just not me, and if my MOH said that was her plan I'd ploitely let her know I wasn't comfortable with it. I was MOH for my sister and she wanted something fun for all the girls in our family(including our Mom and aunts) so we went to a local amusment park and it was perfect for her. Hopefully yyour MOH knows you and knows what you'd enjoy doing.
