Affordable Veils

Where did you buy your veil?  I really want to wear one, but I can't see spending $200-$300 on something that I am only going to wear for a couple hours.

My mom and I made mine - a cathedral length veil, raw edge, two layers to the floor, then only one layer that extended/trailed on the floor.  I think we paid $5-10 for the tulle and probably $7 for the comb.  My mom sewed the veil onto the comb, then we cut around it where we wanted it to lie when I had a dress fitting.  HTH

I bought mine on craigslinst.  A very simple, one layer one that went to my lower back (for sale).  I couldn't spend the money on a new one either.

I think the girls on the budget board have some good suggestions here too so I would post there - I cant remember the name of the one they all seem to use but I checked it out (before I figured out I wanted to DIY) and they are between $10 and $20 - much better than $200. I also know you can find some nice ones on Etsy

Dont know if this will help but I have an Ivory one with scattered crystals, 2 layers.  Willing to sell for $20ish.
