How does this work??

I was thinking about going to Anchor Paper this weekend to get some ideas for invitations. Do I need to make an appointment? Did anyone go to the Plymouth location? Will they help me figure out what sizes/types of paper I will need? I just have no clue how this all works so thank you for your help! I feel like I am kind of at a stand still with my planning so it might be a good idea to get started on a DIY project...

I went to the Anchor Paper in Minneapolis, and I did have an appt.  Actually, I just called like a half hour before I wanted to go in (during the week during the day) and asked if they were busy.  When they said no, I told the lady I would be there in an hour.  They were very helpful, showed me lots of samples, and then took me into the back to look at all their different papers. They will tell you exactly how much paper you need.

In the end, I decided to only half DIY because it was going to be soooooo much work. Anchor will cut your paper into the exact sizes you need, but I went to three different printers and none of them will print on the irregular sized paper.  Two of them would also not print on the paper I had picked out, because it had a shimmer to it. I found invitations I really liked on Vistaprint, and am just going to be embellishing them with a little dusting of glitter and some jewels.  They have a gazillion different designs and they make printing really easy, and they seem to be about the same price if I were to buy the paper and have it professionally printed, and a lot, LOT less work.

If you do want to go the complete DIY route though, Anchor Paper is a great place to go.  They were super helpful.

I actually just did it all online and through emailing Tom, I never went into the store. But I purchased all of my paper through Anchor Paper and it is turning out great :)
