Let me introduce myself..

HI!

I realized that I have been a member for a while now, but haven't actually introduced myself yet.  I'm Jess and my fiance and I live in Minneapolis.  We've been engaged for almost a year now and are getting married August 28, 2010 in Eau Claire, WI.  We debated for a LONG time whether to get married in Eau Claire - where we met and both attended school or in the cities area - where we currently live and there are soooo many more wedding options.  Ultimately Eau Claire won out, but I still enjoy looking at all the beautiful options available in the metro area. :)  Anyway, I really enjoy browsing the knot and appreciate all the wonderful advise and opinions!

    Welcome!
    A good chunk of my friends from Highschool when to Eau Claire for school and loved it! I have been there many times visiting them and really like that area. Congrats!

    Thank you!  Yes, my fiance and I are both Blugolds!!! :)  We are having the ceremony at his family's church, Peace Lutheran, and the reception in the Upper Ballroom of the Ramada.

    Did you get the alumni email about voting for a new mascot?? IMHO, LAME!!! I hope they don't change anything, I think it's great just the way it is :)
