So this past weekend my MOH and I made the flowers to go on the chair sashes we are making for the reception chairs. They are absolutely cool and so easy and quick. They are made out of coffee filters and string (you could also use pipe cleaners) We are doing Ivory linens so we used soy sauce to make them "dirty" looking or "ivory" color instead of stark white. You could also use food coloring or put paint in water if you wanted another color. Each flower takes 3 coffee filters. I will post a picture later tonight when i get home but just thought i'd share this fun cheap idea.
