Confused about Caterers

Hello:

I am struggling with finding a good caterer for our wedding. I do event planning, but not in the cities, and have had many bland chicken dishes. I had a place in mind that had more unique food, but was not impressed with our initial meeting. Does anyone have a great caterer who does fun food (we are thinking latin infused) that isn't super expensive? Any recommendations would be super helpful! I want a place that knows wedding catering so I won't have to worry about things going wrong.

Thanks!

    There's like a bajillion!

The first one that came to mind was Brasa based on what you're going for.

Yeah, I would second Brasa. It sounds like exactly what you're going for. It's latin-infused soul food with a gourmet edge to it. They're catering my reception, and I absolutely love them so far. They are completely adaptable to whatever your needs are. If you just need food, they can do that. If you need servers, you can add those. If you need rentals (chafing dishes, plates, etc...) they coordinate that for you as well. On the other hand, if you don't need those, or would rather find your own deal... they're completely flexible.

Their buffets average about $13 per person and their servers are an additional $25 per hour, per server.

I would recommend checking out these caterers as well!
