Bachelorette Party!

Hey everyone,

I was hoping you would have some suggestions for some great places to dance and look silly at a Bach Party for a crazy bunch of 23-26 year olds!

We are coming from Ontario for a good weekend of Shopping and Debauchery!

Thanks Laughing

Are you going to the cities?  The shout house is fun!  It is a dueling piano bar and is downtown next to a bunch of bars and clubs.  In walkig distace

I'd reco the Lounge. Its got 3 different rooms for different types of music, usually there is a hip hop room, latin room, and i don't know... house/dance music?? something?? Anyway, a great place to go for a group, so everyone can get the kind of music they want for dancing, and you can also reserve vip/table service, with a large group, it doesn't break down to be too much money per person, and its nice, because then you get a place to all sit down/hangout, too.

    Good Luck & have fun.

I just had my bach. party this weekend and had a blast! We went to the Frieght House in Stillwater. It was packed and only had a $3 cover change, most clubs have a higher charge. I've been to so many bach. parties so it was crazy that this one was mine! We hit up a couple bars on the way down to Stillwater too. Another route, Grand Ave is fun too- Wild Onion, free drink to the bride!

Thanks for the great info Ladies! Keep it coming!

I have partied in Duluth plenty, but we are going a little further this time and I am not sure where to go. This will be a great start! We tend to ask locals all day while we shop where to go and they are generally pretty helpful.

I second Shout House. It's always fun- even if you have people who don't like to dance, they seem to get everyone involved :)

Yes, the Shout House is really fun. I would not spend the whole night there, but it is for sure worth a stop. Last time I went clubbing we stopped at a little place called the Attic (I think that is what it is called) and they had free drinks from like 10-11 or something. Try http://twincitiesnightclubs.com/ It should give you info, reviews, and maybe cover info. I went to Valentinos for Halloween and it was lots of fun. Really big with a giant dance floor.

dt Mpls: start w/dinner on Nicollet Mall, hit up the Shout House, then club it at the Lounge. There are lots of dance clubs, not sure how "fancy" you want it. Places like Imperial Room, Bootleggers, and the Loon are good for dancing in a less-swanky environment - young, peppy crowds.  Smalleys (formerly Champps) has an outdoor dancing area in their alley patio w/a DJ going every Sat night.

If you decide on Shout House, I would definitely call to make a reservation, unless you plan on getting there early. I've been there with a group of people and haven't been able to sit down, and the place was packed. Not fun. But the time I went with a few people and got a table right in front was awesome!
