Last minute summer venue??

So we just got engaged and for several reasons our "fall wedding" idea is pretty tough for most of our immediate family. Do any of you know any venues that have a fluke date open this summer??  

I know its a long shot but worth a try! Maybe 150 - 200 ppl?

Not really - anywhere is fine in the metro- Im from the west side of town and hes from St Paul side so we would do either one! Mostly just overwhelmed and its my second wedding so I want it simple but its getting complicated already!

town and country club in st paul?? most don't know that it is open to the public so it may be a shot.

Black Bear Crossings in St. Paul is not very well known, we just had our tasting there last month and I know they mentioned they still had some openings. Not sure exactly when, but it never hurts to check.

I am having my reception at Royal Cliff in Eagan and I know they have ONE July opening left.  It's either the 31st or the 24th.  I can't remember for sure.  Give them a call!!

I was originally going to get married on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (lower rates because of a Sunday date, plus lots of people have Monday off for Memorial day weekend). Due to finances, I had to post-pone, and as far as I know my venue and DJ still have the date (May 30) open.

Check out Tour Player's Championship Golf Course in Blaine--- I feel super lucky to have stumbled upon this place. They are not well known in the wedding business, but they are trying to break into it more. They have a beautiful clubhouse, awesome prices, and the best best best steak (the tasting was awesome). Call and ask for Carrie and just check out the grounds. You could have your ceremony and reception there if you wanted.

Oh, and the venue maxes out at 180 for a plated dinner.

Check out Old Arizona Theater in S. Mpls. or Upper Cut Boxing Gym in NE mpls. both you can bring in whoever you want for your own caterer. Both are kind of laid back funky spaces.
