Brook Hall in Blaine

Has anyone here ever been to a wedding at Brook Hall? Anyone ever heard of it? Their prices are extremely reasonably, the hall is elegant although a bit dated, and they have great "extras". I think the man and I are going to book this although I wanted to see if anyone had any input.

FI and I looked at BrookHall and almost booked it.  We loved it there.  We ended up moving to the Mermaid instead only because we were really drawn to having the guests in a hotel right at the wedding site.  At Brook Hall guests would need to drive themselves to a hotel for the night or get a shuttle which Im sure we could have worked out easily enough.  The hotel being right on the grounds at the Mermaid just seemed easier at the time.  Also, BrookHall would need a little more decorating where the room we're using at the Mermaid is predecorated with tule and lights.  Our only other concern with BrookHall was that we wanted to make sure there wasn't another wedding in the room next door.  I was concerned about having to share that front room space with another wedding.

But overall we loved the place.  We really liked the older look it had and the people there were super nice and helpful.  My Mom said she had been at a wedding there and was really nice, but I haven't personally "seen it in action".  They're pricing is definitely reasonable and I think you'd have a gorgeous wedding there.  Don't you just love the big chandeliers in the ballrooms?  And the front entry with the fireplace is gorgeous as well.

Let us know what you decide to do!
