bachelorette party ideas

Our first plan for my bachelorette party was a weekend up at my cabin, which I really want to do, but not very many of my friends can come for the weekend.  2 of my bridesmaids are under 21 (my lil sisters) and I want to do something that they can be invloved in.. Any ideas?

How far is your cabin?  Too far for people to drive up for the day or evening instead of the whole weekend?

Other ideas - pedicure party followed by dinner? Valleyfair?
  • Our cabin is in Nisswa. 2 hours from the cities.  the thing is that some girls can come for friday night and some can come sat night.  The cabin Idea is really what I want to do, but my MOH is concerned about the turnout.  I dont know if I should have her plan something else or if we should stick to the orginal plan.

<div>How many people do you <em>really</em> need? I dunno about you but me and a girlfriend can have an excellent time :)</div><div>
</div><div>What if you & MOH spend the weekend there and send an open-house style invite?  People can come for as much or as little of the weekend as they want.  Spending the afternoon by the lake with girlfriends 1-3, evening with GFs 3-8, next day breakfast with 7-10 etc etc.  People would need to give you a ballpark of when they're coming so you can plan food and everyone wouldn't get to see everyone else but it could be a really fun weekend.</div>
  • I like ceh's idea.  You could call it Bachelorette Weekend instead of Party.
  • I agree with the weekend idea. It kinda sucks not everyone will be there at the same time but I still think it would be really fun! We did something similar as a sorority event and it was great. We spent some time on the water when we got there, grilled, the sat around the bonfire at night. The next day we spent some more time on the lake and ate of course, though some people needed to leave early and such. My family doesn't have a cabin so when I'm able to go to a friend's cabin I always have a blast! So if it were me that's what I'd do! :-)

  • Could go to a place like Pinstripes one night, you can bowl and play bocce there. For those that are of age and want to drink, they can while those that aren't can still have a good time out.

  • When my sister got married I wasn't 21, and what we did was the night before the wedding she had all of us come to her bridal suite (where she was spending the night) and we relaxed and painted our toenails and fingernails and just hung out.  I brought soda to drink, while the older girls drank Smirnoff Ice (I think).  I'm doing something very similar the night before my wedding, just an idea since you have underage sisters!!
