Programs

Does anyone know where to buy inexpensive programs.  I was going to try and DIY but cardstock is a little more expensive than I thought.  I looked at Etsy and they have really cute ones but I wasn't sure if anyone else knew of a place to order them from.  Thanks!

I am doing mine on Vistaprint.
You may want to look at 123print.com too or even zazzle.com

We printed our own. H set up the margins, etc for me in Word and we printed them landscape style on an 8 1/2 x 11 beige paper. Then we had them folded and stapled professionally. I wanted to do ribbon, but ran out of time.

We DIYed our programs, and we used 67 lb. white card stock from Office Max.  It is a little thinner than traditional cardstock, but less expensive, and definitely still thick enough.  We got a big pack of it, and printed it at Office Max, which really worked out well, because it was really great laser quality, and I didn't have to deal with printing myself and buying ink cartridges.  I was also able to get them cut for only $2.  The printing and cutting took about 10 minutes - saving me major time.  That was definitely a bonus, as I still had to fold them all, punch holes, make the cover, and cut and tie ribbon.  You may want to check that out, it might be less expensive that you thought.  Here is a link to my planning bio page about the programs, if you are interested.

I did DIY, too.  I ordered my cardstock online, and it was much cheaper that way. I am doing the program fans because we will be outdoors in July.  Good luck!

Wilton brand 'ready for weddings' card stock is awesome, Jo Ann Fabrics carries it (in the big wedding 'crap' aisle)
Here's a link to get an idea of what they have - kind of ready for home printing programs-

I purchased the tall tri-fold programs for something like $10 for 50.  The 'top' side had a nice barely-there gold border, and they were all creased in the right spots for easy folding.  (The kind I had did not have the hearts on it like the ones in the linked site above).
The all fed into the printer really well and folded nicely.

Wilton also makes 'matching' placecards for the reception.  Send them through your printer, cut out (there are tear lines, but it looked much better cut), fold and done.  These are super cheap.
