Flower ideas but not for a bouquet

My ceremony is super simple & short so my 11 year old daughter and 16 year old soon to be stepdaughter won't need bouquets. I'd like to do something flower-y for them though. I think a wrist corsage is cheesy and doesn't fit with our picnic theme. Any other ideas or suggestions? I'm DIY-ing real flowers. I'm thinking like a head band or something.

    What about a single stem with a ribbon? Or give them each a clutch or something to carry.

    I agree with the single stem with a ribbon, that would look gorgeous!!

    EDIT:  I was in a wedding when I was 15, and I was given single rose to carry.  I don't know that I would've wanted to wear a floral headband (although I would've if my sister would have asked me to).
