Help!! Wedding Photographer under $1000

Hey everyone! This probably sounds rediculous but I am looking for a GREAT photographer under $1000 if possible. The photographer is very important to me but can afford much at all. All the ones I find are 2500+. Please help me! Thank you!

I just got a quote from Sarah Ciccone yesterday and you can go up to 6 hours of coverage with her for under $1000.

Sarah Ciccone's photots are fantastic!  My photog I believe has some options under $1000.  Heck my all day package + engagement isnt too much over that amount.  elisabethannphotography.com

Have you looked at Dana Schoppe?  I think she's a little over $1000, but she might have a smaller package in your range.

I won't be using them until May, but they come highly recommended on this board, and my friend used them and highly recommended them as well.

$1077 for all day coverage and two other sittings.

I know that last year, there were quite a few that were under $1,000... but a lot of those have upped their rates a little. My recommendation would be to contact them and see if there's any arrangements you could make to bring down the price a little. Most of the time, unless they're super in-demand for the time of your wedding, they really want your business and will do what it takes to get it. You might have to cut your e-pics or a couple hours of shooting, but in the end, it's usually worth it to stay in budget.

Some of the moderately-priced-but-amazing photogs that pop into my head are Render Photography, Snapgrin Photography, and, as already suggested... Sarah Ciccone.

I second Imagen.  Alex is fantastic and a blast to work with!  We just did our engagement pics in September and were very happy with how they turned out.

You get 2 photogs for unlimited coverage on your wedding day, 2 other photosessions of your choice (e-pics, boudoir, trash the dress, rehearsal dinner) and full rights to all of your images.

I used Salwa Bullard for our engagement pictures. She was great, and we felt very at ease, even though for whatever reason I was very nervous at first. She is somewhat newer, but she's been doing it for awhile still, for sure over a year, and her prices are budget friendly. I know she will have at least one more wedding up by the end of the year on her site. 

Her prices start at $600 for 5 hours and her wedding packages will be completely customizable based on what the bride and groom are looking for

I second Meg Cooper. She's fantastic and super nice and very affordable! I'm spending 1200 and that's her most expensive package - 8 hours, 2 photographer + engagement session. Her prices start at 800 though. I'd definitely check her out. We're getting our e-pics done soon and everything I've seen so far makes me very excited! She's very gifted!

I'm using Firefly studios. Heather is really nice, and you get all day coverage for $1000. Plus if you refer someone you can lower the cost.

Thank you! I did check out this website and unfortunately she said on her page that as of March 2011 she will be no longer booking any more weddings...beautiful photos though!

Thank you! I checked out this website for firefly photography and the pricing says it STARTS at 3,000??? Is there a second photographer that's cheaper?
