Cake Bakers?

so i am hoping to have a cupcake cake for my wedding but i'm having a hard time finding a baker that does cupcakes. any suggestions?

There is a place on University called Cupcake that has amazing cupcakes!  Also, I know Queen of Cakes in Edina does cupcakes - we're using them for our wedding cake, and all I can say is YUMMMM!!!!

We did a Cupcake Cake!  It was one of those things that I had always wanted.  We ended up going with a woman who lives in Savage who makes wedding cakes independently.  It was literally the BEST cake I had ever tasted and she delivers and sets it up so beautifully!  Let me know if you want her info

I second Queen of Cakes. That's who we are using also and their cake is wonderful! We aren't doing cupcakes, but I know they do them and their cake prices are reasonable so I'm sure their cupcake prices are too.

We're using Jeff from http://www.SweetTreatsByJeff.com, his cupcakes are really good, he has some awesome flavors, and he's really cheap!  I think we're paying $1/cupcake, although I don't know how decorative he makes them, we're just getting regular filled cupcakes and then decorating the cupcake tower.

Just a thought, but if you're doing cupcakes you could mix in mini cheesecakes from Muddy Paws. Their cheesecake is to die for!

I Want Cake

I'd suggest Cupcake, too.  The thing I like most about them is that they can top their cupcakes with stuff besides buttercream.  If you do stop in, try their chocolate high hat.  They frost them with either whipped cream or chocolate mousse, then dip them in ganache.  Sweet Retreat is pretty good, but nothing all that special.  I happened upon them a couple months ago when I was shopping at Sur La Table, and bought a few cupcakes. The flavors aren't exactly adventurous, but they're good.  It looks like they also do full-size cakes, too, if you wanted one for cutting.
