mini-moon

We were thinking the dells...lots to do and I've actually never been there.  Anyone been there and have a good hotel recommendation?  We don't want to spend a ton of money since we want to actually do a honeymoon later on, but we do want something nice.  We also dont want there to be kids EVERYWHERE.  Thoughts?

My dad has some kind of share or something at Chula Vista, so we've been there often.  It's really nice; indoor and outdoor stuff available.  There are a lot of families that stay there, but the kids usually seemed to stay on the other side of the resort where the pool and kids stuff was?  I'd recommend looking at their visitors page too for the Dells.  Sometimes they have "adult" stuff planned (wine/beer tastings, etc.)

    Have fun!

We're doing a mini-moon in the Dells, too! Then our actual honeymoon over FI's winter break.

I love the idea of a cozy, woodsy place -- does the Dells have any that aren't crawling with kids, like Kristi said?

I don't have any ideas about a hotel, but there is a neat winery somewhat nearby if you guys are into wine. It's called Wollersheim Winery and they have some pretty tasty stuff!

Me, me!  We stayed at Rhapsody Spa on Lake Delton in the Italian Renaissance suite.  It's a quiet place, our room was right on the lake, and we got a couples massage the second day we were there.  We spent 3 nights there, and it was pretty quiet/relaxing!
