Just got back from our wedding party burger crawl (we're gathering monthly so both sides can get to know each other)---tonight was The Bulldog Northeast.  yum.

Yah for your bridal shower.  What are you wearing to it?  Are you bringing a hostess gift - if yes, what?  Do you know what type of shower it is - traditional with games, desserts or champainge and whatever?

Lola - Have you been to The Nook or Shamrocks in St. Paul??  I went there recently for the Juicy Nookie burger (cheese in the middle).  Not gonna lie, if I had to pick betwee my FI and the burger, adios FI;)  J/K! 

Seriously it was amazing, a need to try for anyone who loves food like myself.  I actually think we will do our Grooms Dinner there now.  YUM.

Burger Crawl?  Fantastic idea!

DH and I had a double date with one of my best friends and her new boy.  It was nice and low key, just what I needed after a long work week.

The Juicy Nookie is SOOOOO GOOD!  FI and I watch Diners, Drives-ins, and Dives.  We saw the Nook on there and had to go.  We waited 35 minutes outside and it was so worth it!

LS- good book, right? I got totally sucked in, and read it super fast a few months ago for my book club. There are some good discussions to be had at the end! 

I did absolutely nothing wedding related tonight, except for go out to dinner at the restaurant thats catering our wedding, Brasa! yum. It was for FI's birthday celebration with his fam, they hadn't eaten there before, so nice that they all enjoyed it, helped confirm it was a good choice.

I gotta find some wedding motivation this weekend so I can start checking some things off the to-do list. arghhhh.

For the burger crawl, we're following the Minnesota Monthly Top 10 bugers (July 2008 isue)...and surpsingly, The Nook comes in at #10! We only had 9 months till the wedding when we started, So it didn't make the cut...but I've been there and definitely think it could be better than some of the others...

Here's the list, if I can remember it!

#5 Capital Grille (most expensive burger ever...only on lunch menu, but an amazing experience)

It's been a fun way for both sides of the wedding party to get to know each other--and we've definitely grown closer to those that have been able to make it each month...really really fun!  Now we're thinking of starting a monthly pizza crawl after the wedding, just cuz..
