Party Venue that allows BYOB?

I posted below, but didn't get very many responses, so I thought may I would re-post with a better subject line.

I am throwing a graduation party and need a venue. Restaraunts are too expensive and not really what we're going for - we'd like to have it BBQ with catered food, but very casual and fun - outdoor space would be ideal. Something park-ish would be perfect, but we can't go with a MetroPark or city park because we want to be able to serve alcohol (nothing crazy, just a few beers in a cooler). A rental cabin or rented private home would also be perfect, but obviously that's not something that's easy to find in Columbus and we're not willing to drive very far outside of Columbus. We only need enough space for 50 or so people. We live on the NE side, so something in the Gahanna, New Albany, Westerville area would be perfect, but I'm definitely flexible. Any ideas? Thanks so much for any help because I cannot find anything!

I don't know if this is too far away but try Achbar Grotto.  They have indoor as well as a nice shelterhouse area.

http://www.columbusgrottotemple.com/ My dad was a member there. It's nice, I believe they let you bring in your own food and liquor.

Contact Dave at Dave at: achbargrotto@insight.rr.com

You might contact York Golf Club on North High, they at least used to allow you to bring in your own food/liqour. Just north of 270. It is adjacent to Josephinum.

skippylou - the Grotto is actually exactly what we're looking for (outdoors, casual) and pretty close to us! I just emailed Dave to inquire about availability, fees, etc. Thanks!

Anyone else have ideas? I found an awesome "party barn" which would be perfect but it's in Canal Winchester, which ends up being almost 40 mins away, which is just too far.

I'm having my wedding at York, and you can bring in your own food, but you have to get your liquor through them (the prices are pretty reasonable, compared to other venues).  3 of the walls are windows, so you look out over the golf course, but I don't think it's really that park/outdoor feel that you're going for...

You may have already booked, but Wild Good Creative (google for the website) rents for $75 or several hours and it's byob/food.  It's a gallery-type space not far from OSU, and is probably only good for 75 or so.  The people are very nice and helpful.  There are tables/chairs and kitchen space, plus parking in the back, which is rare for that area.
