Cake vendors

I'm getting married in KC, north of the river in December, and wondered if anyone knew any affordable cake vendors.  We def. want buttercream, no fondant, but other than that are not picky.  Need a cake for about 150.  Thanks in advance

    hi, i am using cathy with cathycaters.com...she is awesome!  cake is delicious (yummy buttercream) and is only $1.25 per slice!!  much cheaper than others i tasted/looked into. hope that helps!

    we just booked our cake lady.  We went with KCcakelady.  She is so great.  We have enough cake for 195 guests (wedding cake and grooms cake) with delivery for $315.  We are doing 3 flavors - white, lemon and chocolate.  Her frosting is amazing, and usually I hate frosting.  Thanks for all the recommendations ladies!
