Invitations in Columbus...

Hi ladies, I'm not getting married until May 2013, but I am trying to get a head start on pretty much everything since I'm finishing my last year of school and just don't want to wait until the last minute and get super stressed. I have seen a few different vendors for invitations and other stationery around Columbus, but wasn't sure if any of you ladies had experiences with them. The few I've seen are On Paper, Occasionery, and You're Invited. If any of you ladies have worked with any of these companies or have other suggestions, I'm definitely open to hearing your thoughts! =)

I met with 2 of yours, On Paper and You're Invited.  Both seemed nice but I ended up doing my own so that I could get what I wanted without paying $6+ per invite. (I really wanted pockets!)  However, I did finally find Alternaitve Hitches which had the best prices and I would have gone with them if I didn't do my own.

    Hi!

I know Rachel at http://aubrennensinvitations.com/ she has done wonderful work in the past for many of my clients and friends.  Personally, we are doing our own - but if you would like to check her out please do!

We looked at On Paper, but their prices were really high for what we wanted. We visited Peabody Papers next and they quoted me half the price for a similar invite. We used paper from Envelopments (which both places carry) but the printing cost was less expensive at Peabody Papers. They were so easy to work with and did a fabulous job on for all our wedding paper needs.

I had Occasionally Custom design an invite for me, but we ended up postponing, so we haven't done anything else yet. They are really creative, though and they have lots of cost saving options.

I used You're Invited for our invites. Sarah is amazing!! We are also using her for menu cards, place cards, napkins, and programs.

Thanks for all the input ladies! My TK budgeter says I can spend about $750 on invites, but obviously if I can get them cheaper I will. We're having a formal evening wedding, so I want formal invitations and those are the few places here in Columbus that I think have some options I might be interested in. =)
  • Hi -- We are using Sarah from You're Invited. We will be doing everything through her. Her prices are very reasonable and she has a lot of options to choose from. She has been great!!
  • @Mrs G: You can easily get custom invitation suite (invites / envelopes / rsvp cards & envelopes / inserts) plus coordinating table numbers, programs, seating cards, and possibly even thank you notes and/ or save the dates for that budget if you go to the right place. I can't recommend anything specific because I'm an invite vendor (just on here to give advice since my wedding), but your budget will not be an issue with getting custom invites made for you :)
