Small Reception Venues in Westport or Downtown?

Help!!I plan on having a small reception (no more than 50 people) and need venue ideas. Most places are built to handle 100+ and I don't want my reception to have an echo...echo...echo... :)Any ideas for smaller reception venues in Westport or the Crossroads? Open to other locations as well if they're interesting and/or quirky. Thanks!

Someone mentioned Californios in Westport a couple posts ago.  I think that would be GREAT for a smaller party. Also there's the Arts Incubator in the crossroads, or Third Eye Event Space.  Both have really cool working-art-studio/gallery feels to them.  I normally go to those places for First Fridays.

Check out Studio B in Crossroads.  It's right next to third eye on Main.  It essentially has two smaller rooms ---one is a long narrow gallery and the other is a more open space with a bar.  There is a fun, quirky "VIP" lounge above the more open space ...I think it'd be perfect for a smaller party!  The two seperate rooms can have different music playing, so the gallery can be more of a lounge area and the larger space could be where a DJ/food is found!Good Luck!

We are doing our at the Simpson House off of 45th and main. Its a max of 100 people. Check out their website, simpsonhouse.net the pictures that are on there are not the greatest so if you can I would suggest to go and check it out in person, it looks much better. You get to bring in your own caterer as well.

Maybe the Raphael Hotel on the Plaza?  I might have some other locations that would work for you too, e-mail me at triplm [at] hotmail [dot] com
    Happy planning!
