Renting Photography lighting?

We're doing a DIY photobooth, but since we are having an evening reception, the lights will be dim during the party. Anyone have any idea where I can rent those big lights that they use in photography studios, and an idea of how much it might cost?

A friend of mine does photography and she gets her stuff from Owen's Originals out of washington kansas.http://www.owens-originals.com/ their stuff might be cheaper then renting. Then after the wedding you could always try reselling it.... hope this helps!!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm kind of at a loss as far as what I need so I think I'm going to get in contact with those people and see if they have suggestions.

Digital Labrador in KC will rent you out strobe lights, if you do not know how to work them however if may be tricky getting everything set up correctly with camera exposures and so on. You may be able to hire a  photo student from around the area to work that booth very cheap.
