Ceremony Musicians Needed

Hi all!

We are planning a Loose Park Rose Garden wedding (next June). I envision strings (trio or quartet, preferably) playing as guests arrive and throughout the ceremony. I've emailed several that I have found on-line, but it seems that everyone is charging upwards of $500 for an hour of playing time. This seems a bit high to me. Am I being unreasonable? Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks girls!

    I paid $400 for a violin/piano duo.  I looked around quite a bit, but thought this was my best choice.

    I've been looking myself, just for an instrumentalist though.  I found this site on craigslist: MelisaHile.com.  She plays cello but at the bottom of the site there are links for other ensembles like a string trio.  I *think* the prices were around $125 per musician.  I'm still keeping my eyes open for other options though, as I'm not sure what I want yet.

    I'm using Juniper String quartet ...www.cellolady.com . Its 450$ (a little cheaper) for a quartet or $350 for a trio.
