Gifts for the wedding party!

Assuming everyone is getting gifts for their BM (I was told thats the correct thing to do) what are you planning on getting them? So far, I have gotten 3 of them little satchels for makeup or pencils or whatever they want with their initials on them. I got those from David's Bridal and I think maybe TK wedding store. I haven't decided yet what else to get, but I want to get something they will really use. Also I am on a budget, but I want to make sure I spend around the same on every girl so no one feels less important (well, maybe I will spend a little more on my MOH, who is my sister) What do you think is an approperate amount to spend on BM gifts and what did/ will you get them?

I think you spend you what can afford, there isn't a set amount.  I went a little over board on my girls, about 100-120 per girl.  I got them all some of the same things and then each girl a special gift unique to them.  I also got them a giftcard to pay for part of their hair for the wedding day.  Have fun with it!

Honestly, I'm probably only spending less than $50 per girl. I would love to spend more, but I am on a tight budget and I think they will understand. I'm just giving them something thoughtful - that's what is most important.

Yep, I hear ya, I'm on a budget too. I kinda went a little crazy yesterday because TK wedding shop had a great sale, so I splurged and got two personalized tote bags (for different girls) and a bracelet for aa third girl. They have some pretty good reals going on for favors and stuff too<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> I love buying gifts for people almost morre than I love shopping for myself.

So far I have got Monogram wine glasses and I made personalized hangers for my girls.  I also want to get them flip flops to wear at the reception and maybe a cute clutch or jewelry.  I haven't really decided yet.

I ended up buying Coach wristlets...the best part was that I got them at a Coach Outlet store for just under $50 each. I think this is something each person would use, even maybe for the wedding day.  If you can get a popular brand at a discount, go for it!

So far I have gotten the bridesmaid a black tote that holds pictures.  I am going to print off pictures from my bacherolette party and other ones I have.  I also got them flip flops to wear at the reception.  I am making them a necklace and earrings.  And still haven't decided but may pay a portion of their hair.  Not sure if I will throw anything else in or not.  I got a pretty good deal and bought everything on sale so right now I only spent like $10 on each person.  So I trying to decide what else I may want to do.
