What kind of things are you looking to DIY?  How big is your wedding going to be?  If you have already asked 5 women to be your bridesmaids, you can/should keep them all.

Definitely check out the DIY board.  There are tons of ideas, even by searching through the ladies' bios (links are usually found in their siggy).  They are also more than willing to share how they did things and where to get good deals on supplies.

No reason to stress.  You've got time to put things together.  HTH!  Good luck and don't be afraid to ask any questions!

Since you are thinking this will be in a friend's home there probably won't be a need for too many decorations since it will be a, presumably, small space.  A few floral arrangements (or you could do non floral pieces-ladies on the DIY board have some great ideas) will probably suffice.

I think less is more in these situations, which is super budget friendly :)

Is there any kind of wrap you could buy to help keep you warm and have it outside? The weather is always hard to predict around here, but last year I had a friend who got married in early Feb. and it was gorgeous...probably 65 degrees! Did you ever watch the TV show Friends? Phoebe got married outside in the snow and it was beautiful. A ceremony doesn't have to take long if you would really prefer it outside....
