I had a destination wedding in Miami, and used mainly vendors down here.  Here are the reviews for the vendors we used in Kansas City

Alterations- Nordstrom- A+
Lana did a great job, she took about an inch in on each side of my dress, hemmed and bustled the dress.  She also shortened the straps and took in the cups. Great job for a very reasonable price ($150)

Jessica Roark and Jessica Hattery were truly amazing! They showed up early on the day of the wedding and were great with communication.  I will receive a sneak peek of pictures on Thursday and will post a final grade then, I know they will be amazing though! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Easiest vendor decision I made, no kidding.  Their work truly speak for itself.

    Howdy!

    Yes, congrats!!! I have been stressing over finding a photographer way too much. I don't think our original budget is anywhere close to being realistic for what we want. I've met with Marybeth from Epaga and walked away feeling as though everything is just too expensive. Then I spoke with my brother (love Skype) who got married in May about it all. Their photos were amazing and the photographer was so much fun to work with. He just let his bride do everything and told me he didn't even want to know how much it cost because any amount was going to be too high. He got everything he wanted out of their whole wedding day and are even talking about getting married again! Anyway, I guess I just wanted to add that - and say "thank you" for mentioning Epaga foto. I really would love for JRoark to capture our special moments and seeing this thread is helping me realize that I deserve the best photographer KC has to offer. I do not plan on settling on any other part of my big day - so why should I when it comes to one of the most important parts - preserving the memories.

    So a huge thank you for simply posting this. I really appreciate it and it helped to make my evening more relaxing. Thank you!!!

    Rachel- No problem! we were the same way, we could settle on other things, but not photography.  Besides the memories photography is all you have to remember your big day.  If you meet with epaga again, please let Jessica know I sent you her way and she will take care of you :)

    I will post a link to her website once she posts pics.
