Decent DJ and Cost...

So we are trying to get the big things out of the way and would like some opinions/ suggestions about local DJ's. Our venue does have a really nice sound system with an I-Pod hook-up but I'm not completely sold on the idea. Thoughts...I got a quote from a gal for $450 for 5 hours.

Thanks!

FWIW, the only ipod reception I've ever been to, it didn't work out well.  The problem is that if your guests aren't feeling the music you've set out, there isn't a lot you can do about it.

We're going with Complete Music off several recommendations from friends.  So far they have been very easy to work with, and they are very prompt with communications.  We're meeting our DJ in person next week, and I'll be able to give you a better review in (OMG!) 2 weeks.  They charge $645 for 5 hours, but they are ALWAYS at the bridal expo at the Overland Park convention center (I think the 4th weekend in July this year), and you can get $100 off if you're ready to book that day.

    HTH!
