Costa rica, jamaica, or virgin islands?

We want to be active, spend a lot of time at the beach, and relax. 

One week for 3000-4000...any suggestions?

    We went to Sandals Negril in Jamaica and liked it!  I'm sure any of the above would be amazing though!

    We were planning on Couples Jamaica.  It's all inclusive and has some excursions and water activities included in the price and was around 3000 with airfare for a regular room.

    Depends on what you mean by 'being active.'  You can do lots of excursions and such in Jamaica that are fun, and it's fairly reasonable to go there.  However, if you want to get out of the resort-type stuff and explore the locale, you'd be much safer going to the bahamas or virgin islands (I can't speak for Costa Rica since I've never been there).  You should start checking stuff out and see what you can get in your price range at a resort on each island and go from there.

    Honestly, though, you really can't go wrong with any of those choices!  :)
