AW: Married bio is up and under construction!

I've collected a bunch of non-pro pics from friends and family, so I've got a married bio!  I'm still (oh so patiently) waiting for my pro pics, but he took several thousand, so I'm not surprised it's taking a little while to sort through them all.

There are also a bunch of vendor reviews.  I had great luck with all of my vendors.  I got more than I wanted from most of them, and I paid less than I expected.  I think we were about $500 under budget in the end.

Dazed2confused- feel free to put the vendor reviews in the KC knot website.  If you'd rather me send them to you in another format, just let me know!

Thanks girls!  We had pizza every Wednesday while we were dating and it's our favorite food, so it seemed very "us."  Although, I have to give H the credit because that was his idea.  I guess it would take a guy to come up with ordering pizza for a wedding, right?

Yay!!!!!!  Tell your photog to hurry up, you have wedding starved knotties wanting to see the pictures!  Hahaha, just kidding (well, about telling him to hurry up).  Mmmm....pizza.  I miss it.

Love the pizza idea! Especially that's been cut from my 45 day diet! Thanks for posting your reviews though. I still need a limo and so I think I'll give Pech a call. I like the no minimum rule you mentioned.

A guy at work told me that when his daughter gets married (she's 8 now) he'll offer her the cash or a wedding because in his opinion it's better to have the cash to use for a house or whatever than the wedding that lasts one day. He said he'd check withe me after my wedding and see what I thought. I told him I really really hope I don't feel that way and that everything will all be worth it. It's bugged me since then though. So in your opinion, was it worth it?

We ended up spending a litlte more on our wedding than planned, but we both agree that it was all worth it!!!!!!!  Both sets of parents gave us a set amount....we could have used that for whatever we wanted, wedding-related or not.  Although the honeymoon was fantastic, we both loved the wedding and have no regrets about anything.

    Sorry I missed this earlier!

It's funny he said that because that's exactly what each of our parents did.  They each cut us a check as a wedding present and we could use it on whatever we wanted.  At the time they each offered that to us, H and I had already set a budget and started our planning, so we just used the money to pay for most of the wedding which was a nice surprise.

Even if we hadn't gotten help from our parents, our wedding would have happened the same way, and I'm happy with all of it.  Yes, it goes fast and only lasts a day, but we had a blast at the wedding and we really actually enjoyed planning.  We don't regret spending any money that we did, nor do we regret anything we didn't do.  We will have great memories of spending the time with our friends and families.  That alone was worth all of it, in my opinion.
