Different Colors for Ceremony/Reception?

Hello there!  I have a random question... would it be too funky to have one set of colors for the ceremony and another set for the reception?  I absolutely love teal and yellow and my FH prefers some shade of blue in the reception.  However, the ceremony site is an old church and the colors in the church will look a little odd with teal accents, but will look beautiful with red/yellow accents.  My thought is to have deep red, orange and yellow for the ceremony and Teal, orange and yellow for the reception.  Thoughts?  Is that too weird?

I don't think that's too weird.   If a color just won't work at one venue, I don't see any reason why you can't still use it at the other one.  I say go for it!

Agreed, so long as the colors work with your dresses and suits, there's no reason not to use two color schemes :)

We are sort of doing this... the ceremony will be black/white/plum/gold but the recption we are doing completely in gold. There is no reason why you can't alter your color palate for the second half of the day! :)

Thank you ladies!  I appreciate your thoughts and encouragement to go with the varying colors!  I'm super excited!!  :)
