I think it depends on how involved you want to be.  I'm way too much of a control freak and I like to plan so I have been able to do everything myself.  Plus my venue has great event coordinators to take care of everything having to do with the reception.

We are using Sharon at KISS Events. We decided to hire a coordinator for day-of coordination, and she has been amazing so far!

I looked into a day of coordinator and thought the cost was too high and not worth it. We are friends with a couple that are not part of the wedding party that will be helping with the details, she and I have similar personalities so I know things will be done my way. We will likely send them a nice thank you note and a nice gift or something after the wedding to thank them.

I am using Above and Beyond Weddings - Lynn Henderson.  She is wonderful and it is well worth it.  I believe you can hire her for the full process or just day of services.  Her recommendations are solid and she has worked with each of the recommended vendors numerous times so has complete trust in them.

I am using One & Only Wedding Service - Donnetta Watson. She is amazing!! She has been doing this for years and has alot of vendor relationships that will definetly come in handy.... I dont know what I would do without her!! LOL

Thanks Ladies!  We're going with Sharon from KISS Events. She is really down to earth and she's worked with our photographer before so that's a BIG plus.
