I have been contacting so many companies that I'm worn out.
I would have liked to go w/ Encore Elite Entertainment -Danny was booked by the time I sent in my deposit...
ProDJ wont let you meet with a DJ until you have filled out a profile and sent in a deposit.
Marc O'Leary is a bit more expensive ($500+)  than I'd like to pay.. but he has a really nice Bose sound system
Canterbury DJ doesn't have multiple speakers, instead 2 huge speakers at the head of the DJ table.
My reception will have different areas that need the sound to be projected toward in order for everyone to hear the music/announcements without it making them deaf.

    Its a husband and wife and they are great! They have awesome lighting and work with you to have the cermony/reception you want!

    I am using ProDJKC. The owner (Jenn) is really great! I have seen them at alot of bridal shows so I have met a lot of their DJ'. I am surprised she wouldn't let you meet a DJ until you pay (which I guess I can understand, since the DJ's wouldn't wanna meet EVERY bride who was even thinking about using them). But maybe you could give them a shot...or go to a bridal show to meet the DJ's. I really love them so far...I love the people, the equipment and the price!

    Premier Midwest. It's a husbad/wife duo that we met at the Bridal expo like a year ago. When I walked by, he noticed I was wearing a KU shirt and started playing the fight song. Haha, I was sold.  We met w/6 DJ's before we made a final decision though, so don't feel bad!

    Micky King of SoundKing Productions. FI is friends with his son, so he is giving us a discount but his regular rates are some of the cheapest I have seen.

    Jeff Holmes from Holmes Music World.  He was on a list recommended by our venue and has tons of great reviews.  Not to mention that he's a super nice guy who is very accomodating and has a great website to create a playlist, etc. if you want.  Good luck!
