Out of Town Welcome Bag Ideas?

I am working out putting together Out of Town Welcome Bags for my guest. My theme is "Best of Kansas City" for the guests.

I was going to put highlights and special interests around KC. I was also going to include special little things like a bottle of BBQ sauce. (Everyone knows KC for BBQ).

Do you guys have any suggestions on little different things I can put in here? (Obviously, we are on the cheap here) or Any suggestions for special interests around Kansas City?

Thanks for your help ladies!

We put my FMIL in charge of this, but we gave a few suggestions.  Depending on how many bags you have, we thought about doing Wizard of Oz - not really KC, but the area.  If you can find something for Boulevard Beer, that would be good too.  Also, check out the brochure stands at a hotel for ideas or brochures.  We will be putting in a map of the KC area with attractions.

We are doing BBQ sauce, Sunflower Seeds (that's more KS then Kansas City), Blouvard, Original Juan stuff- they are a local company that makes sauces and salsa's amoung other stuff.

We also are including a map and 'things to do in KC" handout.

We haven't done ours yet, but i've been thinking of ideas- definitely a map of the area. If you have special places you guys really like, you could make a custom map with those places. I'm also planning on making these door hangers, because they are just too dang cute:

There is a template on the link that I posted, and looked pretty easy- hopefully it is!

Snacks, for sure.  Even something small, like granola bars would be great to have for a snack after the wedding, you know?  Maybe throw in a list of good local restaurants near the hotel.

I'm doing the same thing Jen! Here is what our list of goodies includes:
    Jack Stack BBQ sauce
    2 bottles of water
    Pumpkin snack mix
    Homemade chocolate chip cookies
Small package of Christopher Elbow chocolates
List of local restaurants, bars, and cafes that FI and I like in the area.
