Lees Summit?

Anybody getting married in/been to a wedding in Lees Summit at the Historical Woods Chapel Church??? I found it after endless searching for a ceremony site located close to our reception site. I have e-mailed them and called them the past couple of days via the info @ www.fomt1855.org/rentwcc.html but i can't get a hold of anybody! It's perfectly within our budget (we were going to get married at our reception site outside.... but when we saw it (we're from out of town) we HATED the space for the ceremony....right by the road and everything... So we needed somwhere pretty cheap...and this chapel is soooo cute & perfect. But I neeeeed to get a hold of them

I've been to a wedding there before and it is really small, but if you are having a small wedding it should work.  It also wasn't air conditioned, but that was nearly 5 years ago so it may be now.

I finally got a hold of somebody. Yeah, she said it would hold around 100 ppl, which may/may not be a problem. But we're going to go look at it next weekend and another place while we're in town and make our decision. The other place is the Kemper Outdoor Education Center in Blue Springs...if anyone has been there, any feedback would be appreciated

Another Venue you might check out is Stonhaus Farms & Winery, they have a great reception/wedding hall http://www.stonehausfarms.com/Festhall.html
