Im in the kansas city area and trying to plan a wedding for under $2000. I want to have the ceremony at a pentecostal church. But im in the beginning planning stages and i dont know what to do about a reception. Is it cheaper to have it at the church we have the cerimony at? We want to invite approx. 50 people but expect maybe 30 to show up. I will do my own decorations and we have a friend whos a cook who wants to take care of the reception meal (we pay for the food, he cooks and serves it). I think the only big cost things would be the venue, videographer/photography and the cost of the reception food. I know i cant have anything fancy but i want it to be a quality memory. Any suggestions on how to make this happen?
