I just wanted to put up a public service announcement on a good deal I received on some chairs I rented for my wedding in September. I'm not a vendor, just someone who knows that a lot of us want affordable chairs for rent.
I know a lot of people, like me, aren't too fond of chair covers. Well, Prime Time Party Rental in Dayton rented out 210 chivari chairs to me (in mahogany) for 6.25/chair. This is a lot cheaper than Lasting Impressions, who charges 8.75. Also, if you book and pay in full today or at their open house tomorrow, they will give you an extra 13% off. Normally, they don't travel to columbus, but their boss made an exception and I just have to pay a flat 200 shipping charge.
I can honestly tell you that I'm paying 1551 for 210 chairs from PTP and got quoted 2211 from Lasting Impressions.
Also, after doing the math on how much spandex chair covers would be with sashes and labor, turns out the chivaris were only 150 dollars more. I know this isn't something that fits into a lot of people's budgets...but I figured I'd share my good deal with other Columbus Knotties. Happy Planning ladies.
