Bachelorette in KC?

Hi ladies! I am from Omaha and planning a bachelorette party in KC for March.  Now I haven't been to KC in about 8 years...so yeah, I need your help. Most likely we will be staying at the Q Hotel.  Any suggestions on salons to maybe get our hair or nails done?  Or bars/nightlife that are a must?  I've heard of Power & Light, but what's it all about?  Thank so much for your help!!!!

Yes, Power & Light is popular, plus there's The Plaza which is great for shopping and dinner.  There are also some bars and a club at the Plaza too.  Belle Epoque is one salon I've heard good reviews about downtown.

I agree with everything Kelley said!  The Power & Light District is great for a night out!  If you go that route, visit their website and contact the girl in charge of bachelorette party deals.  For my party last summer, I think each girl paid $10 which got us into all bars all night long (rather than paying cover at each bar).  They also have deals for dinner, but we did dinner on the Plaza instead.  My bridesmaids and I got our hair done at Belle Epoque for my wedding and nails done at Polished Nail Salon (both downtown near P&L).  I would recommend both!

I've been to bachelorette parties at P&L and the Plaza...both were really fun! There is a piano bar at P&L called Howl at the Moon that is a lot of fun.
