Jewish Wedding questions

I am getting married Aug. 14, 2011. Part of the reason why we are planning so far in advance is because we are planning a very tranditional Jewish wedding, and can't find ANYTHING for Jewish weddings in the KC Metro area. No Chappuahs, Kosher Catering, Jewish Wedding Planner (or someone that has lots of experience with Jewish Weddings and traditions). Luckily we did find out that we can get a Kosher Cake from Hen House, although I don't know if a grocery store will be good enough for my wedding cake. PLEASE help me find Jewish Vendors and a Wedding Planner! Has anyone else had the same experience? THANKS

Steve Chick was my wedding planner and he did a fabulous job.  We had a Jewish wedding, but not with the same constraints/requests you outlined in your post.  I'm fairly certain Steve has done many Kosher events (he's an event planner and fabulous caterer).

Thanks for the website, and your help. However, that website isn't working. Do you have the number maybe? Thanks so much!

I'm not sure this will help you but I attended jewish wedding a few years ago at the Overland Park Marriott - it had a Chappuah and kosker food.  I'm not sure if that is traditional enough but it was very elegent and nice.  At the very least they might be able to recommend someone who specializes in jewish weddings or something.
