Hey all. Anyone have any fun wedding or non-wedding related plans this weekend?

I'm flying out to Oregon in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow to spend 5 glorious days with my sister, brother-in-law and their 4 month old son. I haven't seen them since July and the baby has developed the most incredible smile known to man. I cannot WAIT.

Well I'm currently working on my siggy, it seems that no matter how much I resize it my STDs are still huge.. hopefully it's just taking some time for them to change. Anyways, I can't wait to relax tonight! I had a couple job interviews this week, so I think I deserve a beer or two tonight . I'd like to finalize the violinist for the ceremony and start designing invitations this weekend as well.

TGIF!!! Tonight I am finally seeing my bff, I haven't seen her in a little bit so I am excited to get some girl time in. Tomorrow night my sister is having a "pinterest party" (i know we are corny) but we allllll love pinterest. The concept is that if you come you bring, wear, make etc. something pinterest inspired. I found an awesome recipe that I am bringing and am going to wear a pinterest inspired outfit I also want to knock some DIY wedding stuff off of my list and get more organized around stuff like that.

I am dog-sitting for one of my bridesmaids, while she goes to the FSU/BC this weekend.  I'm currently waging a war on fleas(again) hopefully this will be the last time.  This bridesmaid and I watch each other's dogs quite frequently and last weekend my dog came home from her house with fleas...ugh.  I really hope that it actually freezes this winter so they'll die off!!!

So tonight I'll be going a lot of laundry and vacuuming while I enjoy "Bride Day on TLC" and I'm probably renting a redbox.  Allergies are acting up so down time will be nice :-)

Tomorrow my other local bridesmaid is having a pumpkin carving party so I'm going to go over early and help her with that :-)

WR: hopefully reserving the bridal party's rental houses and picking out wedding insurance :-)  People are starting to get my Save the Dates so that's awesome!!

***UPDATE***I just got these for my BMs, they're on sale for 50% off, I had a 20% off Macy's shopping pass(b/c I registered there) and the giftcard that I won so they were essentially free for me.  Once shipping was added on, they ended up being $14/person.  I also plan to get them something small that fits their individual personalities to go with these vases :-)

Ugggghhhhhhhh this so does not feel like a weekend!

I work a lot of OT right now. So, I've got some deadlines for stuff I don't want to do that I have to do. I'm sitting in my big chair, in front of the woodstove, with my cats, working on finance stuff for work. It's not the end of the world.

We reroofed the house this week and John is finishing up the last few bits of it. I had to go run errands and pick up some stuff form Lowes. I just went out and ran shingles up the ladder for him so he can hopefully get the last side done, then we just have to put the ridge caps up tomorrow.

And, I went to Hobby Lobby and got the stuff to make John's niece's birthday present - a princess skirt and wand. I hope to get that done this weekend.

And, we have a sick kitty who has an abcess and a corneal ulcer. And, laundry. And, my dad's birthday is Tuesday, I've got to buy stuff to make him dinner. And, go grocery shopping. And, pay bills.

Next weekend should be better, MIL is coming over and we're going to the dirt track races together Friday night and she's going to spend the weekend with us.

Yikes!  That sounds intense!  I went to work for a few hours this morning to finish some stuff that could really wait till Monday but my boss is pretty flexible with my schedule so I can use that time around Thanksgiving and I won't have to take as much leave.

I've either got some fall allergies kicking in or FI got me sick while we were camping last week.  Either way, the dogs and I are posted up watching TV and snuggling all weekend.  I hope your kitty feels better soon!!!
