How are you attempting to pick the DJ for your weddings??

How will we know if they are any good and will help everyone to loosen up and Dance!

We selected ours based on many positive reviews on my local board and on weddingwire. But I also went to a few bridal shows and some of them provided dvds with sample parties. Another thing i did was a you tube search for weddings at our reception site and some Djs had posted samples of their work.

My venue has a list of preferred vendors with several vendors in each category.  I called the people on the list, got prices and then decided from there.

Our DJ company is also a preferred vendor and the DJ we hired was the DJ at a friend's wedding a couple years ago.

I read the vendor reviews on my local boards and that is how we made our decision.

We went with the top preferred on our local board! We met with him and we clicked and booked him right on the spot!

My wedding planner referred him & then I went onto his website and downloaded his mixtape & I loved it.

I read lots of incredible referrals, my sister saw him DJ a few weddings, and I met him in person/heard his mixes.
